Issue Position: Second Amendment
Sanders publicly announced that he strongly believes that there needs to be restrictions on gun purchasing including extensive background checks even more so than currently. He finds it absurd and completely unnecessary that the are AK47's and machine guns on America's streets when they are weapons of war and need only to be used for such not available for the masses and their disposal.

I do believe that there needs to be extensive gun check and backgrounds but I do not believe its absurd or completely unnecessary they are on the streets, maybe in these locations they are needed for the protection of people.
