This upcoming Monday will wrap up Sanders' two day ATL visit. Ever since the Paris attacks most of the political conversation has focused on national security and has left Sanders struggling to "find his footing" besides his stance on Wall Street bank separation and income equality.
At 7 p.m rapper 'Killer Mike' (real name: Michael Render) will open for Sanders at the Fox Theater. Render is a local political activist emphasizing the criminal justice reform and even shortly had a write-in candidacy for state House this past summer. Clinton seems to have Georgia's democratic establishment on lock so hopefully the event will give Sanders substantial quantitative results.

I can see how Bernie struggles to keep pace with the other candidates during discussions of national security. Maybe this upcoming event will boost his popularity. However, even with an increase in popularity, Sanders has a lot of catching up to do if he wants to go head-to-head with Hillary Clinton.
ReplyDeleteNational security isn't something Sanders has really focused on thus far, hopefully he'll be able to find his footing quickly to keep up.
ReplyDeleteBernie doesn't seem as active as everyone else and he should probably step up his game if he wants a chance to win. I haven't heard much of him fundraising or improvements/failures so I guess the media has lost interest in his campaign for now.
ReplyDeleteBernie definitiely has lost the interest of many people. He doesn't even seem to make a big deal of the Paris attack or have much interest in it, which is something a future president should care about and try to figure out.
